Lawn, George Dege, all over the country lecturing on turf management is right in your own
backyard. Participants in just one lawn class at Dege Garden Center can get two
hours of practicable knowledge combined with safe ways to have the lawn you always wanted.
Included in the class cost is a one-on-one follow up session with George where he will
examine a sample of your lawn, discuss with you what has been used on the lawn in the
past, analyze what it needs, and send you home with a set of instructions adapted for your
lawn in particular. "I tell them to bring in samples of the best part of their lawn
and the worst part," Dege says. "From that we can put together a program
specifically designed to improve its present condition and can delve into the aspects of
their environment that are keeping it from being a part of a healthy growing
landscape."
